Betty M. Bailes

Betty M. Bailes, 94, of Parkersburg, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born March 22, 1925, in Terre Haute, IN, a daughter of the late Addison and Lizzy Killion Gaby. Betty retired in 1995 from Camden Clark Medical Center. She enjoyed working puzzle books, playing cards, listening to music and watching wrestling. Betty was an avid NASCAR fan. She is survived by her children, Deanna Deem of Mineral Wells, Lois Boise (Carl) of Mineral Wells, Rebecca Lewis (Calvin) of Cincinnati, David Bailes (Patty) of Belpre and Wayne Bailes (Mindy) of Lexington, KY; six grandchildren, Eric, Marc, Melissa, Abbey, Zach and Lauren; and six great-grandchildren, Maddie, Reagan, Gavin, Grant, William and Madison. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil E. Bailes; and two sisters, Edith and Beulah. Visitation will be from 12 pm – 2 pm on Monday, November 18, 2019 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg.Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Monday with Pastor Sam Edgell officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Housecalls Hospice or to the American Heart Association in memory of Betty.
