Betsy Brown Reger of Vienna, WV died Tuesday February 7, 2017 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born August 2, 1943 in Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of the late Paul W. and Harriett Low Brown. She is survived by her husband, Robert H. Reger Jr., whom she married August 28, 1965, a son Michael Brown Reger (Carolyn) of Vienna, WV; and a sister, Harriett Ann Northey (Wayne) of Bridgeport, WV. She is also survived by brother in-law, Jack Reger of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; two nephews and three nieces. She was preceded in death by infant brother, Jeffrey Stuart Brown. She graduated from Bridgeport High School and West Virginia Wesleyan College, where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Mrs. Reger retired, with twenty years of service, as a Sales Associate from Stone and Thomas and Elder-Beerman. She was a former member of the Vienna Women’s Club, Junior League of Parkersburg and Fairmont Junior Women’s Club. She was a charter member for Chapter Z of PEO in Parkersburg, West Virginia Wesleyan College Emeritus Club and belonged to the Wayside United Methodist Church, where she was active in Agape Fellowship, Council On Ministries, Alter Guild, Administrative Board, Bereavement Committee, Vacation Bible School Teacher and Genesis Sunday School Class. She enjoyed walking, spending time in Canaan Valley, Ocean City, Maryland and attending oldie/doowop concerts with Bob. Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Wayside United Methodist Church in Vienna with Reverend Greg Markins officiating. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Private burial will take place on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. in Buckhannon, WV at the Heavner Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wayside United Methodist Church 3001 Grand Central Ave, Vienna, WV. 26105 or the Arthritis Foundation, Ohio River Valley Chapter, P.O. Box 4381 Pittsfield, MA 01202-4381.
