Beth Ann Hudkins

On Friday, February 9, 2024, Beth Ann Hutson Hudkins passed away after an extended illness with her daughter Allyse by her side.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband David Hudkins, and her parents Bill and Verna Ruble Hutson.

Beth is survived by her children, Lindsay Taylor of Ravenswood, Derek Taylor of Parkersburg, and Allyse Taylor; daughter-in-law Sarena McElfresh of Walker; a sister, Marsha Hutson; a dear friend Kathy Hayhurst of Mineral Wells; seven grandchildren, Sidney, Gabe, Chloey, Wesley, Kayelee, Aiden and Gaige; and two great-grandchildren, Julian and Saige, all who meant the world to her.

She was born January 17, 1961 in Parkersburg. She worked many years as a teacher’s aide for the Wood County BOE, several years at Sears and Crafts 2000, and ended her working career as an in-home caregiver for Wirt County Senior Living.

Beth enjoyed crafting, crocheting, and thrift store shopping. Her dog, Sheldon, was her pride and joy. Most of all she loved her family and spent as much time with them as she could.

She will be missed beyond measure. Her family is thankful for all of the memories she helped create. She will always be remembered for the amazing amount of love she gave.
