Bernice M. Talkington

Bernice M. “Bunny” Talkington, 70, of Parkersburg, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Parkersburg Care Center. She was born July 23, 1946, in Ritchie County, WV, a daughter of the late Lewis E. and Zelda L. Rexroad Duff. Bernice loved reading, making flower arrangements and cooking. She attended Cedar Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Roland Talkington; one son, Lloyd Talkington of Parkersburg; two grandchildren, Tayler Talkington and Kristin Lambert; one sister, Vernita Carol Brown (Clay) of Parkersburg; two half brothers, Larry Rexroad of Washington, WV and Randall Rexroad of McFarland,WV. In addition to her parents Bernice was preceded in death by one daughter, Angela Beatty; one sister, Loretta Bell; and one brother, Edward Duff. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Steven Talkington and Pastor Mike Hardbarger officiating. Interment will be at Bethel Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
