Bernice M. Riggs

Bernice M. Riggs, 91, of Bartlett, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on January 2, 2012, after a long illness.She was born August 1, 1920, in Washington County, Ohio the daughter of the late George L. Maley and Sarah F. Maley of Little Hocking, Ohio.Also preceding her in death was her husband, Guthrie Riggs; and two brothers, Orville Maley and George Casto Maley.Surviving is her daughter, Genevieve (Ginny) Berry and husband, Jack B. Berry of Bartlett, Ohio; two grandchildren, Wayne B. Berry of Bartlett, Ohio and Elaine M. Mayson of Fayetteville, Georgia; one grandson, Easton Berry; two granddaughters, Ansley Mayson and Sydney Mayson; one sister, Ruth Moore of Belmont, West Virginia; two nieces, Christine Smith and Doris Blind; sister-in-law, Orvella Maley.Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 5, 2012, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Blvd. Belpre, Ohio with Pastor Jack Berry officiating. Burial will follow in Newberry Cemetery, Little Hocking, Ohio. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
