Bernice L. Jones, 92, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born November 8, 1926 in Jackson County, WV, a daughter of the late John F. and Clara Icenoggle Collins. Bernice enjoyed quilting and playing the guitar and piano. She attended the Jefferson Baptist Temple, where she was the oldest member at the church. Bernice is survived by her three children, Dottie Henderson (Ramsey) of Pittsboro, NC, Jerry Jones (Patty) of Parkersburg and Diana L. Eaton (Daniel) of Mineral Wells; grandchildren, Michael Paul Jones, Kimberly Evans (Mike), Kris Null (Tim), Terrie Jude, Patrick McCauley (Becki Woodard) and Diana Smith (Jeff Riel); great-grandchildren, Brandon Null (Jodi), Mindi Anderson (Vince Bower), Lindsy Wade (Dylon), R.J. Jude, Megan McCauley (Jerry Lewis), Kyle McCauley, Tyler McCauley (Zoe Wilson), Zachary Smith, Walker Jones, Maddy Jones, Chase Evans, Dalton Evans, and Andruw Evans; several great-great-grandchildren; special friend, Paul Lloyd; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edward Jones on November 15, 1982; her grandson, Ricky Boston; three brothers, Clement, Arnold and Mitchell Collins and five sisters, Phyllis Watkins, Nellie Wine, Helen Collins, Ocie Watson and Crystal Percival. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Mark Watkins officiating. Interment will follow at the Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
