Benny Lewis Burge

Benny “Ben” Lewis Burge, 73, formerly of Vienna, W.Va., passed away August 24, 2011, at the Arbors at Marietta after a long illness.He was born September 6, 1937, in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of the late Joe and Hessie Zickefoose Burge.Ben had formerly owned and operated his own window washing company for several years and was a proud US Navy veteran, having served in the Korean Conflict. Surviving is one sister, Donna Rawlings of Williamstown, W.Va.; three brothers, Paul Robert of Vienna, W.Va., James Lee of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Max Byron Burge of Paris, KY; and a host of nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Pat Burge; and four brothers, Dr. Joe, Bill, Dickie, and infant boy Burge. Private graveside services will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Crematory, 3005 Grand Central Avenue, Vienna, W.Va., is assisting the family with arrangements.
