Barbara Jean Wilson

Barbara Jean Wilson age 73 of Mineral Wells, WV passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024 at her residence.

She was born January 23, 1951 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Robert and Betty Wilson.

Barbara was a volunteer at the Ohio Valley Healthcare for several years. She loved traveling, fishing, her flowers, crafts and she made and donated over 1500 turbans for cancer patients. She was always thinking of others.

Barbara is survived by her significant other, Russ Wilson of Mineral Wells; step-children, Lorrie Talbott (Danny) of Belleville, WV, David Wilson and Amy Wilson both of Parkersburg; two nieces, Angie Perkins of Belleville and Jeanne Truxal Shears of Lexington, NC; one nephew, Michael Wilson of Little Hocking, OH; step-grandchildren, Haley McPeek, Dylan Wilson and Hannah Keller and great-nieces and nephews, Nathan, Allie, and Kyle Perkins, Sierra and Tori Shears, Levi and Sarah Wilson and Hunter Jones.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her three siblings, John and Larry Wilson and Joyce Truxal.

A gathering for family and friends will be from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St, south Parkersburg with a service to follow at 4:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Parkersburg Humane Society, in memory of Barbara.
