Barbara Jean Weaver

Barbara Jean Weaver, 73, of Mineral Wells, WV, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta. She was born July 31, 1948 in Parkersburg. A daughter of the late Delbert and Avonell Jackson Pierce. She was a 1966 graduate of Parkersburg High school, a member of the United Methodist by Faith and an avid fan of Bluegrass music. Barbara is survived by three daughters, Christine Yates (Donnie) of Parkersburg, Katie Wigal (Rob)of Parkersburg, Lisa Ritchie (Brad) of Parkersburg; a son, Roger ‘’Rocky’’ Morrison Jr. of Parkersburg, and seven grandchildren, Allison Yates, Ryan Yates, Caleb Ritchie, Cayleigh Ritchie, Cameron Ritchie, Addison Weaver and Calliope Wigal. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Weaver and a sister, Debbie Lauer. Funeral Services for Barbara will be 11 A.M. Friday, June 17, 2022 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, South Parkersburg with Pastor Don Yeager officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Twist Cemetery in Wirt County. Visitation will be Thursday from 4P.M. - 8 P.M. and one hour prior to services Friday at the Funeral Home.
