Barbara "Carol" Post

B. “Carol” Crites Post, age 77, of Mineral Wells, WV passed away March 24, 2017 at her residence. She was born at Chapel, W.Va. Aug. 27, 1939 the daughter of the late Vance H. and Queen Elizabeth Beckett Crites. Carol was a 1957 graduate of Parkersburg High School, was retired from the Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Council as secretary and was a member of the Grace Gospel Church, Pettyville, WV. Carol is survived by her children, Debra K. Conger (Mike) of Parkersburg, David Allen Post II (Karen) of Mineral Wells, WV and Cynthia Dawn Richards (Tom) of Elizabeth, WV; three brothers, William D. Crites (Janet) of Parkersburg, Clayton Crites of Vienna, W.Va. and Ronald Crites of Lubeck; grandchildren, Cody Steele (Ashley), Sean Conger (Kyla), Courtney Allen (Josh), Logan Steele, Brent Conger (Kerry), Dylan Richards and Brooke Richards and great-grandchildren Colton and Riley Jo Steele, Emerson Post and Ciara and Chase Conger. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband David A. Post in 2009. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. south Parkersburg with Pastor Roger Benson officiating. Burial will follow at the Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Dr. Cawley and the staff of the Strecker Cancer Center and Amanda Miller. The family requests that donations be made to the Erickson All-Sports Facility P.O.
