Barbara Ann Lewis

Barbara Ann Lewis, age 84 of Williamstown, WV passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024 at her residence surrounded by family.
She was born April 24, 1940, in Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of the late Richard and Dorothy Carpenter Duty. Barbara was a 1958 graduate of Williamstown High School where she was a cheerleader, Homecoming Queen and member of the Thespians. She was retired with over 30 years of service from the Williamstown Bank where she was VP of Human Resources and had worked at the City of Williamstown. Barbara was a member of the Williamstown City Council and a member of the Williamstown First Baptist Church where she was past treasurer, Sunday School teacher and involved with the Awana. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary in Williamstown, a member of the Senior Women’s Club, member of the Kwana’s and very involved in community activities.
Surviving is her husband of 64 years, Ronald Lewis; daughters, Darlene Fleming (Don) of Waverly, WV and Laura Jones (Troy) of Williamstown; two brothers, Richard Duty of Marietta, OH and Tim Duty of Williamstown; grandchildren, Greg Buckley Jr (Sarah), David Buckley, McKinley Buckley, Jaimi Fleming, Tara Fleming, Alex Dunn and Emily Dunn (Lindsey) and great-grandchildren, Leo, Ruby and Jack Buckley, Emslie Marie Dunn and Landon, Laken and Rowen Dunn.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Lee; sister, Becky Shawver and granddaughter, Danielle Marie Dunn.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, November 14, 2024 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna with Pastor David Easter officiating. Interment will follow at the Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
