Audrey Louise Richardson

July 6, 1938 — October 18, 2024

Audrey L. Richardson age 86 of Parkersburg, WV passed away Friday, October 18, 2024 at the Camden Clark Medical Center.
She was born July 6, 1938 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late P. Earl and Neva L. Leach Metz. Audrey was a retired nursing assistant where she worked at Carehaven Nursing Facility and more recently was a crossing guard for the Wood County School System. She was a member of the North Parkersburg Baptist Church where she was a greeter, involved with VBS and Awanas and was known as “Grandma” by many. She enjoyed reading, working puzzles and volunteering at the voting polls.
Audrey is survived by her children, Franklin E. Hoff (Michelle) of Parkersburg, Tereasa Chaddock (Mark) of Harrisville, WV, David A. Hoff (Cindy) of Keithville, LA and Alice Myers of Monroe, GA; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Richardson and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Green St, Parkersburg. Private family burial will be at the Big Tygart Cemetery, Mineral Wells. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
