Arthur Jo Quoyle

October 17, 1948 — May 20, 2017

Arthur James Quoyle, 68, of Vienna, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2017 at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV. He was born October 17, 1948 in Bayonne, NJ to Stella Posluszna- Quoyle and Arthur Quoyle. He grew up in a loving family and graduated from Bayonne High School in 1966. Afterwards, he began his career as an electrician. In 1972, after a 2 year courtship, he married the love of his life Arlene Maria Starita. They were blessed with another love, their only son, Jarrett. The title of father was a crown he wore proudly. He loved watching Jarrett play soccer and football. He especially loved “sideline” coaching and cheering for his son. He enjoyed spending time with nieces and nephews, extended family, and so many “adopted kids” of family friends. Arthur’s son went on to marry a local gal and they bore the gems on his crown, grandchildren, Alessandra Hope (Allie), 10 and John Rocco (Rocco), 7. They were the apples of his eye and to know Arthur during this stage of his life is to know all about his precious grandchildren. To sum it up, Arthur was as an honest and simple man who fiercely loved his wife, his son and his entire family. He was always there for them and his presence will be eternally missed. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Arlene. Also, son, Jarrett and wife Kelly Hanlon and their children Allie (10) and Rocco (7) of Tryon, NC. Also, sister, Genevieve Kachmar, (87) of Toms River, NJ. Calling hours are Friday, May 26 from 5-8 pm at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home in Vienna. Funeral Service is Saturday, May 27 at 10 am at St. Michael Catholic Church in Vienna. Repass afterwards at the church parish hall. All are welcome.
