Arnetta Nell Goodwin

Arnetta Nell Goodwin, 99, of Vienna, W.Va., passed away March 28, 2015, at Eagle Pointe in Parkersburg, W.Va.She was born May 24,1915 in Bristol, W.Va., the daughter of the late Charles W. and Ada Sandy Strother.Arnetta was a homemaker, enjoying gardening and cooking for everyone. She was a member of Wesley Unite Methodist Church.She is survived by three daughters, Willa Jean Wiant Queen of Bridgeport, W.Va., Betty Jett of Parkersburg and Orpha Anderson (Earl, Jr.) of Perry, Ga.; one son, Daniel Goodwin (Patricia) of Vienna; one sister, Verona Enoch of Vienna; eighteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Lynch Goodwin; one daughter, Sandra Lynn; two sons, John “Junior” and William “Paul”; and twelve brothers and sisters.Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna. Burial will follow at the Bridgeport Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
