Anne B. Morgan

Anne B. Morgan, 78, of Marietta, Ohio passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Heartland of Marietta. She was born November 14, 1939 in Athens, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles S. and Pauline Orr Bolin. Anne was a 1957 graduate of Marietta High School and attended Ohio University. She had worked as a secretary for Carpenters Union Local 899; as a clerk for Baker & Baker Jewelers; and as a receptionist for Bertram Law Office. She was active with The Class of ’57 reunion committee and enjoyed taking bus trips. Anne was a very active community volunteer with Meals on Wheels and Hospice. She was Methodist by faith. Anne is survived by one son, David L. Morgan and wife, Amy, of Marietta; a brother, Byron Bolin of Marietta; a daughter-in-law, Becky Morgan of Dyer, Indiana; four grandchildren, Haylee Jo Morgan, Justin Lee Morgan, Nathan Eytcheson and Collin Eytcheson; and a cousin, Jean Burns. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Paul R. Morgan and Steven A. Morgan. A Celebration of Life Service will be 3 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre with Officiant Craig Wood presiding. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2018 and from 1 p.m. until time of services Friday at the funeral home.
