Anna May Smith

Anna May “Sissy” Smith, 52 of Waverly, W.Va. passed away March 19, 2015 at her residence.She was born November 7, 1962 in Parkersburg, W.Va. daughter of Shirley Marie Springston Smith of Waverly and the late Robert Andrew Smith.Sissy enjoyed Waylon Jennings songs and the Dukes of Hazzard on TV. She attended Blossom Land Learning Center. She especially enjoyed her pet peacock.In addition to her mother, she is survived by a brother, Robert A. “Hank” Smith Jr. of Waverly; seven nieces and nephews, Chad, Kristian, Jasmine, Topanga, Robert, Austin and Dakota; and special aunt and uncle, Ouida and Tom Knox of Parkersburg.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Reverend Jeffrey Williamson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to service Saturday at the funeral home.
