Anna C. Sutton

Anna C. Sutton, 89, formerly of Vienna, passed away February 6, 2018 in Virginia Beach, VA. at her son's residence surrounded by family. She was born in Wood County, WV. February 23, 1928, a daughter of the late Allison E. and Ava Stump Whitlatch. She was a loving wife, mother , grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoyed Geneology. She was a member of Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons; Daniel F. Sutton and John A Sutton (Amy) both of Virginia Beach, Va; two grandchildren, Nicholas (Amanda) Sutton and Lucas Sutton all of Virginia Beach; three great-grandchildren, Aidan, Arabella and Gemma Sutton; one brother, James Whitlatch of Dallison, WV. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Sutton; a daughter-in-law, Carol Sutton and a brother, Everet Whitlatch. Funeral services will be 4:00 P.M. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, with Dr. David Carrico officiating. Burial will be in Herndon Chapel Cemetery at Deerwalk. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Saturday.
