Alice Faye Rockhold

Alice Faye Rockhold, 67 of Waverly, W.Va. passed away April 13, 2016 at her residence. She was born December 19, 1948 in Wood County, W.Va., daughter of the late Everett and Vergie Hunt Simons. She worked for 18 years as a Crossing Guard and also worked at Parkersburg Truck Stop and Belrock Diner in Belpre, Ohio. She enjoyed horseback riding, yard work and reading books. Alice is survived by her husband, Lawrence E. Rockhold; a daughter, Lora Rockhold of Waverly; a son, David Rockhold also of Waverly; a brother, Ralph McCune (Roaseanna) of Parkersburg; two grandchildren, Whitney and Donniel Rockhold of Waverly; five great-grandchildren, Daniel Tennant, Loki Gerber, Wyatt Tennant, Dewyen Gerber and Brady Rockhold; and a step-granddaughter, Jasmine Stevens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Debbie Johnston Rockhold. At Alice's request there will be no services or visitation.
