Alice Mae Hammer

May 30, 1939 — January 9, 2024

Alice Mae Cline Hammer, 84, of Parkersburg, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
She was born May 30, 1939, in Eaton, WV, a daughter of the late George A. and Cora B. Bauman Cline.
Alice worked at Brockway Glass, and she was the owner of Alice’s Wonderland Bakery in Vienna. She attended Summit Valley Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Olan D. Hammer; children, Leonard D. Hammer (Sandra), Rodney P. Hammer (Ann), Anthony M. Hammer (Kim) and Marcy D. Heater; one sister; two brothers; four sisters in-law; two brothers in-law; eight grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her son, Olan Douglas; two sisters; six brothers; her mother and father in-law; three sisters in-law; and six brothers in-law.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00-8:00 pm on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna.
