Alice Freda Fought

Alice Freda Fought, 69, of Newark, WV. passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at the Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born November 2, 1949 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Darlington Q. and Cora Alice Lott Daggett. Alice was active in several veteran associations and various military activities. She enjoyed creating crafts and painting and collecting angels and clocks. Alice is survived by her husband, Ray C. Fought; her children, Mary Sternchak of Jacksonville, Florida, Margaret Murphy of Wellsburg, Ohio and George Pando of Parkersburg; and five grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Anthony Pando. Funeral services will be held l:00 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor John Barker officiating. Interment will follow at the Fought Cemetery, Wirt County, WV. Visitation from 11 am to time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
