Alice Jean Eddy

Alice Eddy (78), daughter of the late Robert and Vera Franklin and sister to Bobby Franklin,

passed away peacefully surrounded by her family after a brief illness.

A dedicated mother and grandmother, Alice raised and nurtured all of the children in her life: Tamera Whipkey, Trena Moyer (Rob, Adilyn, Madilyn), Tanya Eddy, Chandra DeBarr (Jesse, Edison, Vera), Chasady Whipkey (Xavier, Luke), Cassandra Crawford (Owen, Gracelynn), Channing Boston (Audrey), Austin Stanley (Alysia, Payton, Waylon, Paxton, Kohen) Anessa Stanley (Jamicha, Karra, Kamille, Kaden), Brandon Stanley (Alyssa), and Kiera Trembly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Eddy, and grandson, Chuck Whipkey.

Alice enjoyed life to the fullest including vacations at Ocracoke Island, Kings Island, Florida, etc. She also enjoyed playing poker machines and spending time with her best friend, Judy McCale, and her Deland, Florida friends. Above all, she loved having fun with her husband and family. She was a wonderful, loving mother with a heart of gold. She is cherished and dearly missed by all.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna is honored to serve the Eddy family.
