Alice M. Carbaugh

Alice Martha Carbaugh, 93 of Belpre, Ohio, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015.She was born August 16, 1921 in Oil City, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Paul F. Burnett and Elizabeth I. Shaw.Alice was retired from Oil City Hospital as a Nursing Assistant. She enjoyed gardening and her flower garden.She is survived by her daughter, Grace Arnold (Sam) of Belpre; a son, Curtis Carbaugh (Cheri), of Titusville, PA; a sister, Jane Watson, of El Paso, TX; a brother, Paul Burnett, Jr. (Idell), of Centerville, PA; a son-in-law, Richard Barr, of Oil City, PA; and grandchildren, Ambe Deloach (Mark) of Statesville, NC, Curtis Carbaugh (Jois) of Clarksville, TN, Teresa Mitchell of Carmel, IN, Stephanie Carpenter (Doug) of Parkersburg, WV, Chris Barr (Julie), of Mooresville, NC, Charley Carbaugh (Tracy), of Cooperstown, PA, T.J. Carbaugh (Jill), of Indianapolis, IN, Andy Arnold (Christina), of Moyock, NC, Matt Arnold (Elissa), of Suffolk, VA, Heather Caldwell, of Delmont, PA, Barbi Urban (Chris), of Sheffield, PA, Mark Caldwell (Cassidy), of Idaho; 22 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and many special nieces and nephews.Alice was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Janice Barr; and sisters, Pauline Deverts, and Geraldine Kush.There will be a memorial service in Pennsylvania at a later date. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Belpre, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for their care.
