Alice Mae Brookover

Alice M. Brookover, 80, of Parkersburg, WV passed away peacefully, January 9, 2026 at Worthington Healthcare Center with the compassionate care of Amedisys Hospice.

Daughter of the late Jasper Dobbins and Jessie Perkins Speece, Alice was born June 23, 1945 in Parkersburg, WV. She was a Christian, having attended 14th St. Wesleyan Church. She spent her life as a homemaker, and enjoyed baking.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Warren Brookover; three brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by her son, Michael Dugan (Mary) of Parkersburg, WV; step-daughter, Tina Randolph; niece, Ada Ribbett; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home on Pike St. with Pastor Mike Kidd officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until time of service. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
