Aleda V. Ferguson Life of Parkersburg passed away Wednesday morning May 18, 2016. She was born in Parkersburg the daughter of E. Boyd and Neva Saunders Ferguson. Aleda was a 1947 graduate of Parkersburg High School and was a proud Big Red fan. After her retirement from Sears Roebuck with 30 years of service, Aleda pursued her hobby of music. She was active in local music groups singing and playing the guitar for many Parkersburg and surrounding area functions. Aleda is survived by one daughter, Judy Gore (Greg) of Mineral Wells; one son, Doug Life (Fay Lee “Sweetie”) of Parkersburg and her former husband and friend, Lloyd Life. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Nicci Albert (Alex) of Chester, Virginia, Ryan Frankhouser (Charity) of Katy, Texas, Jackie Anderson (Justin) of Davisville, and Amy Gore (Sam McFee) of Elizabeth; four great-grandchildren, Austin and Logan Frankhouser, Kaylynn Albert, Emma Anderson and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, E. Boyd and Neva Ferguson, Aleda was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Life Frankhouser; sisters, Lorita Roton, Barbara Ahmer; brother, Raymond Ferguson; one niece and several nephews. Visitation will be Friday, May 20, 2016 from 6-8 pm. At Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. S. Parkersburg and one hour prior to the funeral service at 1:00 pm. On Saturday, May 21, 2016. Pastor Larry Dale will be officiating. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Peace at Sunset Memory Gardens.
