He especially loved his grandchildren and spending time with them. He also enjoyed feeding birds and watching baseball.He is survived by his wife, Catherine Roberts McClain; one daughter, Christie McClain; three sons, Shawn McClain and wife, Linda of Waterford, Ohio Wayne McClain of Vincent, Ohio, and Ryan McClain and wife, Melissa of Bartlett, Ohio; three sisters, Doris Jean Devore of Belpre, Ohio, Judy Alkire of Marietta, Ohio, and Janice McClain of Cutler, Ohio; three brothers, Bobby McClain, Thomas McClain, and David McClain all of Cutler, Ohio; and five grandchildren, Tyler McClain, Trent McClain, McKayla McClain, Hannah McClain and Hayle McClain.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Tamara Thomas; one granddaughter, Renna McClain; one brother, Jerry McClain; and one sister, Donna McClain.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 1305 Washington Blvd. Belpre, Ohio with Pastor Jack Berry of Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in Bartlett Cemetery, Wesley Township. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and two hours prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
