Adrian "Bud" Paul Bower

Adrian Paul (Bud) Bower Jr., 84, of Cutler, Ohio, passed away on August 6, 2015, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.He was born July 27, 1931, in Calhoun County, W.Va., son of the late Adrian Paul Bower Sr. and Lona Starcher Bower.Adrian was a graduate of Calhoun County High School and had been employed at O'Ames Corp. He was a co-owner of Bower Trucking Co. in Aberdeen, Md. and owned and operated ABC Tire Co. in Parkersburg. He was a 32 degrees Mason and was a member of the Grantsville Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. He enjoyed animals and his pets.He is survived by two sisters, Geraldine Jackson of Grantsville, W.Va. and Ernestine Hardman of Windham, Ohio; one nephew; three nieces; and one great-niece.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn J. Bower.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home,2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg, with Pastor Mary Zimmer officiating. Vistation will be 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday. Entombment will be at Bethlehem Cemetery in Grantsville, W.Va. at a later date.
