Date and Time of Service: Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. – Southposted 8/16/2010 at 2:13:02 PMAdeline Chloris Huffstutler, 89, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away on August 11, 2010, at her residence.She was born March 24, 1921, in Jackson County, W.Va., a daughter of Charles E. and Esther McGown.Adeline was a graduate of Parkersburg High School and worked for Big Bear Stores in Columbus, Ohio and in Parkersburg. She was a homemaker and loved to travel. She was a member of the Lubeck Community Baptist Church.She is survived by her two daughters, Nancy K. (Gary) Richmond of Parkersburg, and Marilyn S. (Randy) Hawk of Berwick, Pa.; one step-son, Barry Huffstutler of Milton, W.Va.; five grandchildren, Rebekah Bowe of Belpre, Ohio, Gabriel Richmond of Buena Vista, Va., Jared Richmond of Veto, Ohio, Jeremy Hawk of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Christopher Hawk of Nanticoke, Pa.; two step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Martin Smith; her second husband, Emory Huffstutler; one infant brother; and a sister, Cleo McGown.Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 17, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Gary Richmond and Pastor Mark Houser officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
