Ada M. Nelson

Ada M. Nelson, 104, formerly of Vienna, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022 in Ft. Wayne, IN, near her daughter. She was born July 22, 1917, in Elizabeth, WV, a daughter of the late James A. and Virginia A. Daugharty Wine. Ada worked in manufacturing at the Viscose Plant and also worked in the dietary department at St. Clair Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. She was a member of Independent Baptist Church where she enjoyed being a handmaiden. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara A. Clark (Perry) of Ft. Wayne, IN; son, Larry E. Nelson (Sue) of Columbus, OH; six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Ada was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Edward Emerson Nelson; four sisters; three brothers and one granddaughter, Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna, with Pastor Mike Elder officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
