Life Legacy
Roberta Ann Atzbach 72, of Oklahoma passed away July 26, 2012, in Parkersburg, W.Va.
Roberta was born July 8, 1940 in Spotsylvania, VA., a daughter of the late Lenwood and Bertha Louise Fletcher. She loved gardening and cooking and entertaining for her family and friends.
She was also a devoted wife and mother to her family and taught Children's Sunday School for many years at Faith Baptist Church in Claremore. Bobbi, as she was lovingly, called served as a cook and then manager of the cafeteria at Leeper Middle School/ CUE from 1983 to 2000.
Roberta is survived by her husband of 42 years;Harold Atzbach of Chelsea, Oklahoma, whom she married July 3, 1970; three sons, Ray Atzbach and wife, Jenene of Chelsea, Ok., Ricky Atzbach and wife, Debbie of Claremore,Ok., and Tony Atzbach and wife, Charlaine of Parkersburg, W.Va.; as well as 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ruth Hicks of Crossville, TN., and Evelyn Thompson of Fredricksburg, VA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and infant son; Michael.
A memorial service will be held at Rehoboth Baptist Church 2450 King Road Claremore, OK 74019, on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Wayne Keely officiating.
